Begin2Bead
I am an Electrical and Electronics engineer with a passion for jewelry making and beading. I started an online business in 2003 selling jewelry components and beads and also owned a retail outlet where I provided training in all kinds of beading activities and glass art. Unfortunatley, my house and business was destroyed in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires and I am only now starting to get back on track.
I consult full time as a technical project manager and engineer and run my online jewelry site (www.paradisebeads.com) and my hubpages in the evenings and on the weekends.
Its wonderful to be part of the hubpages community and I am excited about what the future may bring.
The Begin2Bead site was establlished in 2010 to cater for those people with a desire to bead but overwhelmed by the volume of information available on the web which caters for intermediate to advanced beaders but does not cater for those starting out.
The focus for this site is to present the basic tools, findings and bead types necessary to undertake basic beading projects and to provide links to sites which will provide useful information to those beginning to bead.
